3 Versus 3
Small teams mean everyone is involved.
Fall / Winter 2026–2027 · U5/6–U9/10 · Co-ed
Three-a-side futsal in the gym. Four mini-goals. Constant involvement. FUNino gives every young player more chances to control the ball, find space and make the next decision.
Purpose-Built for Winter
FUNino is a fast 3v3 game played on a compact indoor court. Each team attacks two mini-goals and defends two, so players must look up, move into space and choose quickly.
The futsal ball stays close on the hardwood. With no goalkeepers, fixed positions or long stoppages, every child spends more time playing—and less time waiting.

Small teams mean everyone is involved.
Attack two. Defend two. Find the space.
Short rounds keep energy and focus high.
Better control for confident indoor play.
More Playing. Less Waiting.
Every Child in the Action
Smaller teams mean greater involvement. Every player receives the ball, supports a teammate, defends a goal and finds a way forward.
Every player stays connected to the action.
More chances to try, adjust and score.
Confidence grows through real game moments.
Compared with traditional 8v8 formats, according to research cited in the North York Hearts program brief.
Two goals to attack and two to defend teach players to scan, find space and understand what is unfolding.
Should I dribble, pass or change direction? Players build confidence by finding their own best answer.
More movement and more chances to score keep children engaged, competitive and excited to return.
Active Learning

Active from the First Whistle
No lines and no sitting around. Players learn while moving, touching the ball and solving game situations. Some come to play and improve; others may discover they are ready for a more competitive challenge.
A welcoming, co-ed environment where participation comes first.
Technical, tactical, cognitive and behavioural growth through the game.
Continue developing for fun—or explore the rep pathway when the player is ready.
Coaching That Creates Thinkers
What do you see?
Where is the space?
What is your best option?
North York Hearts coaches guide with questions instead of controlling every move. Players wear club training jerseys, bright pinnies and familiar Coerver tops, making teammates and options easy to recognize at game speed.
