A community tradition, generations in the making
Our roots in central North York reach back to the winter of 1962–63. North York Hearts was formed in January 1990 through the merger of Armourdale and Willowdale Blues Soccer Clubs, continuing a community soccer tradition built over decades. Club history
Today’s players are part of that continuing story. Each season brings new faces, new challenges, and new opportunities to learn together.
Progress comes in many forms
Goals, saves, and team achievements matter. So do the quieter steps forward: becoming more comfortable with the ball, making better decisions, encouraging a teammate, or finding the confidence to speak up.
Players develop at different speeds. Our aim is to recognise their effort and help them see how far they have come. Whether a child is discovering soccer or working towards a greater challenge, their progress matters.
